A Proposta de Emenda à Constituição (PEC) que acaba com as possibilidades de abortos autorizados no Brasil foi aprovada na semana passada na Comissão de Constituição e Justiça (CCJ) da Câmara dos Deputados. O resultado foi de 35 votos a favor e 15 contra.
A parlamentar mineira Greyce Elias, do Avante, é uma das deputadas que assinou o requerimento que aprova o projeto de lei que equipara o aborto após 22 semanas de gestação ao crime de homicídio, mesmo em casos de estupro, feto anencéfalo ou risco à vida da mãe. Em página oficial: ela se apresenta como defensora das mulheres e contra a violência obstétrica.
Este projeto conta com 33 autores, dos quais 11 são mulheres, e também manifestaram apoio os deputados de Minas, Nikolas Ferreira (PL), Junior Amaral (PL) e Dr. Frederico (PRD). Por outro lado, o deputado André Janones (Avante) quer apresentar uma proposta que torna crime o “aborto paterno”, quando o pai decide se ausentar da vida da criança.
Em Minas, é alarmante o número de quase 6 mil meninas de 6 a 17 anos que foram abusadas sexualmente nos últimos dois anos. Neste período, mais de 500 crianças de 10 a 14 anos engravidaram, e apenas 26 abortos foram realizados em hospitais de referência para meninas desta faixa etária. Esses dados são compilados pelas secretarias de Saúde e Segurança Pública.
Em julho, a Câmara dos Deputados aprovou a urgência para a votação do projeto. A medida foi uma resposta ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) e foi aprovada de maneira simbólica. Durante a sessão, o presidente da Câmara, Arthur Lira, não informou o nome do projeto, resultando em alguns parlamentares não percebendo o que estava sendo decidido.
Após uma grande repercussão negativa, o presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Arthur Lira, suspendeu a tramitação de urgência da proposta que restringiria ainda mais as possibilidades de aborto legal no Brasil. Esse movimento ocorreu após intensa pressão de movimentos sociais e críticas à maneira acelerada como a pauta foi tratada no plenário.
Grupos conservadores como a Frente Parlamentar Agropecuária (FPA), Frente Parlamentar Evangélica (FPE) e a bancada da bala apoiam o projeto. A urgência é para que o projeto seja analisado diretamente no plenário, sem a necessidade de passar por comissões temáticas. O autor do projeto, Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ), e o presidente da FPE, Eli Borges (PL-TO), esperam que a votação do mérito aconteça na semana seguinte, embora a data ainda não tenha sido definida. O governo está negociando alterações no texto, considerando-o muito severo, e aponta que o acordo era apenas para urgência.
