O Colégio dos Jesuítas, em Juiz de Fora, está sendo acusado de promover comportamentos preconceituosos entre os alunos, bolsistas e mensalistas. Imagens publicadas nas redes sociais mostram estudantes usando camisetas com frases como “Não atendo SUS” e “Meu papai paga a minha faculdade”. A rede de escolas jesuítas, uma entidade filantrópica com incentivo fiscal, é obrigada a reservar vagas para bolsistas. Os jesuítas são membros da igreja católica e têm escolas espalhadas por vários Estados. Em Belo Horizonte, o representante é o Colégio Loyola.
Ex-alunos que se manifestaram em páginas como Juiz de Fora da Depressão, com 400 mil seguidores, relatam situações de humilhação e discriminação baseadas em questões socioeconômicas, além de comentários racistas. A denúncia se espalhou rapidamente, revelando outras queixas contra o Colégio dos Jesuítas.
Segundo relatos, os bolsistas e os alunos pagantes eram separados em turmas distintas, com horários e salas de aula diferentes. Alguns ex-estudantes afirmam que foram orientados a não se relacionar com os bolsistas e que havia até um corredor proibido para eles. Os relatos apontam diversos tipos de preconceito, tanto por parte dos alunos quanto da própria instituição. Outros relataram que os bolsistas eram segregados dos alunos mais ricos. Parecia que não queriam que os bolsistas sequer compartilhassem o mesmo espaço.
Segundo os ex-alunos, havia um corredor amarelo onde ficava um auditório e as salas do ensino médio, e os bolsistas não tinham permissão para acessar aquela área. Alguns estudantes tentaram usar o banheiro desse andar, mas foram proibidos.
No Instagram, vários comentários foram publicados condenando a atitude. “Jesuítas sempre foi assim colégio elitizado alunos e pais que se acham melhores que outros”, disse uma internauta em post da página Juiz de Fora da Depressão.
