Mais cedo, a socióloga participava de um debate sobre desinformação e redes sociais, onde comentou, em tom de brincadeira, que não temia o bilionário, que foi anunciado como secretário de Donald Trump, presidente eleito dos Estados Unidos.
Horas mais tarde, durante o “Festival Aliança Global: Pro Dia Nascer Feliz”, Lula afirmou que não era momento para xingamentos. “Essa é uma campanha em que não temos que ofender ou xingar ninguém. Precisamos apenas indignar a sociedade, as pessoas que conquistaram o seu direito de comer”, declarou o presidente.
Lula ainda citou uma frase emblemática: “Quero que quem não gosta de nós ouça a frase dessa menina: Os poderosos poderão matar uma ou duas rosas, mas jamais poderão deter a primavera”.
Em resposta, Elon Musk disse: “Eles vão perder a eleição”, referindo-se ao próximo pleito presidencial no Brasil, marcado para 2026.
