Em jantar na casa de empresário, Zema passou o “chapéu” para arrecadar dinheiro para o Partido Novo
Recentemente, o governador de Minas Romeu Zema se reuniu com empresários em um jantar para arrecadar fundos para o partido Novo. No encontro, que aconteceu na casa do executivo Argeu de Lima Géo, no condomínio Capão do Capitão ( imóveis com 20 mil metros quadrados, habitados pela alta sociedade) em Nova Lima, Zema fez um apelo forte aos presentes, mostrando a importância de contribuir para sustentar o partido em seu estado em um ano eleitoral.
Parece que o apelo de Zema deu certo, já que a prestação de contas do Novo à Justiça Eleitoral revelou que o governador e os homens de negócios reforçaram o cofre do partido em Minas Gerais. O partido lançará a secretária de Planejamento, Luíza Barreto, como candidata a prefeita de Belo Horizonte.
Segundo a prestação de contas do Novo, Zema repassou R$ 10,1 mil à sigla, em doação feita no começo de março a título de “manutenção do partido”.
Além do governador mineiro e da direção nacional do Novo, que enviou ao seu diretório de Minas cerca de R$ 280 mil neste ano, empresários do estado também têm contribuído com as finanças do partido.
Estão na lista de doadores da ala mineira do Novo, entre os mais generosos, Jeferson Degaspari (R$ 130 mil), Eduardo Scandiuzzi Lopes (R$ 90 mil) e Marcelo Bosquetti (R$ 80 mil), diretores da Companhia Mineira de Açúcar e Álcool; Argeu de Lima Géo, da Seguradora Pottencial, com um repasse de R$ 100 mil; e José Geraldo e Marcio Enrico Paschoalin, do ramo de concessionária de automóveis e transporte, com R$ 75 mil cada.
Também destinaram dinheiro ao partido Marco Antonio Martins Patrus, da Patrus Transportes, com R$ 50 mil; Rodrigo Andrade Valadares, Mariana Andrade Valadares e Bernardo Andrade Valadares Gontijo, do Grupo AVG, que tem negócios em siderurgia e mineração, com R$ 33,3 mil cada um; e empresários do setor de engenharia, como Reynaldo Ferreira Neto (R$ 40 mil), Leonardo Guimarães Mendes (R$ 30 mil).
Para a eleição de 2024, o Novo renunciou a seu antigo discurso de proibir o uso de dinheiro público e empregará em campanhas municipais o dinheiro do fundo eleitoral.
