Empresários mineiros e ex-atacante do cruzeiro financiam a campanha de Pablo Marçal em SP
Argeu Geo, proprietário da seguradora Pottencial e do setor de mineração; Lucio Pereira dos Reis, do setor imobiliário; e Marcelo Toste, sócio de um escritório de advocacia e conselheiro da OAB
O candidato à prefeitura de São Paulo, Pablo Marçal (PRTB), conseguiu arrecadar R$ 1,7 milhão para sua campanha, com contribuições de 26 mil CPFs, principalmente de empresários de diferentes setores e regiões. Entre os doadores estão empresários mineiros e associados ao bolsonarismo, como Argeu Geo, proprietário da seguradora Pottencial e do setor de mineração; Lucio Pereira dos Reis, do setor imobiliário; e Marcelo Toste, sócio de um escritório de advocacia e conselheiro da OAB.
Há duas semanas, Marçal organizou um jantar em sua mansão no Jardim Europa, um bairro nobre de São Paulo, para angariar mais recursos. O ingresso para o evento custava pelo menos R$ 10 mil e foi promovido via convites enviados por WhatsApp. Entre os participantes estavam figuras públicas como o ex-lutador de MMA Rodrigo Nogueira, conhecido como “Minotauro”, e o ex-atacante do Cruzeiro Marcelo Moreno.
Para participar do jantar, os empresários interessados precisavam oficializar as doações até a última segunda-feira, com o comprovante do Pix sendo enviado para um número de WhatsApp pertencente ao advogado Marcelo Toste.
Toste, que é conselheiro da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, enfrenta acusações de violência doméstica feitas por sua ex-namorada, a influenciadora Luiza Rodas, de 35 anos, que o acusa de não aceitar o fim do relacionamento e de ameaçá-la com a divulgação de fotos íntimas. A juíza Rafaela Caldeira concedeu a Luiza medidas protetivas para resguardá-la das condutas atribuídas a Toste, proibindo-o de contatar Luiza, frequentar locais onde ela esteja, compartilhar fotos ou vídeos íntimos da influenciadora e mencionar seu nome em qualquer rede social.
Os principais financiadores da campanha de Pablo Marçal têm perfis que refletem os valores e categorias profissionais que o candidato busca representar. Pessoas ligadas ao mercado financeiro, institutos de ideias libertárias, consultorias e agronegócio estão entre os maiores contribuintes financeiros. A lista de doadores também mostra a expansão da influência de Marçal fora da capital paulista, com doadores de outros estados. Entre eles, o empresário mineiro Lucio Pereira dos Reis, que no ano passado pagou R$ 250 mil pela mentoria mais cara oferecida pelo influenciador e contribuiu com R$ 10 mil para a campanha de Marçal.
O empresário do agronegócio e mineração, Argeu Geo, transferiu R$ 10 mil para Marçal e é conhecido por participar de jantares para arrecadação de fundos para partidos políticos. No início do ano, o governador de Minas, Romeu Zema, reuniu-se com empresários em um jantar para arrecadar fundos para o partido Novo, realizado na casa de Argeu Geo, que na ocasião doou R$ 100 mil para o partido.
Até sexta-feira, o CNPJ do candidato havia arrecadado R$ 1,7 milhão com a ajuda de 26 mil CPFs, um recorde nacional no número de pessoas físicas contribuindo. Enquanto as demais campanhas são abastecidas por poucas e volumosas doações, com Marçal a lógica é inversa: nenhum valor ultrapassou R$ 100 mil, e R$ 10 mil são suficientes para colocar alguém entre os top 10 dos que mais contribuíram.
No entanto, o valor acumulado até agora ainda é bem abaixo do que os principais adversários conseguiram via fundo eleitoral — Ricardo Nunes (MDB), por exemplo, recebeu R$ 27 milhões dos partidos da coligação.
