A Justiça do Trabalho de Minas Gerais determinou que a Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) pague R$ 60 mil em danos morais a quatro ex-empregados, que foram impedidos de participar de uma assembleia sindical. Cada trabalhador receberá R$ 15 mil. Os empregados são Cleir Patricio da Silva, Elilenne Quenia Pinto, Maria Aparecida Cardoso e Celso Aprígio, que eram funcionários da Construtora CGPAR Construção Pesada S.A, que prestava serviços para CSN.
O Tribunal Regional do Trabalho de Minas Gerais (TRT-MG) divulgou a decisão nesta terça-feira, depois que o Superior Tribunal do Trabalho (TST) negou o recurso da CSN e manteve a decisão de primeira instância. Os empregados foram convocados para a assembleia, mas testemunhas relataram que a rota do ônibus da CSN foi desviada para impedir que eles chegassem ao evento. A situação gerou insatisfação entre os trabalhadores e resultou em uma paralisação das atividades.
Após o incidente, a empresa demitiu vários empregados por justa causa, incluindo os quatro autores da ação, que conseguiram reverter a penalidade na Justiça. A CSN argumentou que não havia provas de violação à liberdade sindical, mas uma testemunha confirmou que o ônibus ficou desviado por 1h30min. O tribunal decidiu manter a condenação e aumentar o valor da indenização de R$ 2 mil para R$ 15 mil por trabalhador.
