As eleições para os cargos de direção da OAB/MG e FEDERAL se aproximam. Em Minas, diferentemente das últimas eleições, o que se vê é uma política mais morna. Já em Brasília, considerando o sistema indireto de eleições, não é possível definir um cenário, apenas, que o atual presidente, Beto Simonetti, tentará a inédita reeleição.
Os advogados estavam acostumados a um acirramento nas últimas disputas, que sempre foram marcadas pelo grupo dos Cândidos, cuja referência é o ex-presidente Raimundo Cândido Junior, e pela oposição, em diversas oportunidades sustentada pelo advogado Luiz Fernando Valadão, depois mais recentemente pelo ex-presidente da CAA, Sérgio Murilo, e, por fim, pelo atual presidente Sérgio Leonardo.
Nos bastidores da OAB/MG, o que se vê é uma real possibilidade da candidatura do atual presidente Sérgio Leonardo ao posto mais alto da advocacia brasileira. Obviamente, isso dá por inúmeros aspectos, mas, sobretudo, pelas exposições contundentes em defesa das prerrogativas da classe em eventos de projeção nacional, como a última Conferência Nacional da Advocacia, que ocorreu em Belo Horizonte.
Diante desses fatos, se abre um espaço no atual grupo que dirige a OAB/MG para suceder o atual presidente Sérgio Leonardo. Vários dos atuais dirigentes têm a pretensão de ocupar esse espaço, caso se consume a postulação do atual presidente à presidência da OAB Federal, dentre eles, o atual tesoureiro, Fabrício Almeida, o presidente da CAA/MG, Gustavo Chalfun, e o atual secretário Sanders Barão.
Em relação à oposição, já se vê movimentos de composição, é o caso do advogado Raimundo Cândido Neto que tenta restaurar o grupo que por muitos anos dirigiu a OAB/MG, grupo esse composto por figuras de expressão, como a advogada Silvana Lobo e pelo ex-presidente Luís Cláudio Chaves. Em paralelo, foi noticiada uma terceira via, composta pelo ex-secretário Adriano Cardoso, a advogada Carla Cilene e a ex-vice-presidente Helena Delamonica.
Fato é que essa fragmentação dos grupos políticos abre espaço para novas lideranças surgirem, o que é mais que necessário, considerando, também, o sistema de composição das chapas do conselho. Da mesma forma, os debates terão que enfrentar, invariavelmente, temas sensíveis para advocacia, como: os desrespeitos às prerrogativas, gestão transparente, valorização da classe, criação do piso salarial, implementação de eleições diretas para presidência de comissões, quinto constitucional e demais cargos de direção.
Na OAB Federal, instituição que se reputa defensora da democracia, passam-se os anos, os presidentes, e permanece a falta de transparência nos processos eleitorais, principalmente, a inexistência de eleições diretas.
As expectativas é que as eleições da Seccional Mineira ocorrerão na segunda quinzena de novembro.
