A Polícia Federal (PF) deflagrou, a Operação Contragolpe, desarticulando uma organização criminosa composta por militares, policial federal e apoiadores de Jair Bolsonaro (PL). O grupo é acusado de planejar assassinatos do presidente Lula (PT), do vice-presidente, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), e do ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Alexandre de Moraes, como parte de um plano maior para implantar uma ditadura no Brasil.
Entre os presos estão o policial federal Wladimir Matos Soares e os militares do Exército Helio Ferreira Lima (tenente-coronel), Rodrigo Bezerra Azevedo (major), Rafael Martins de Oliveira (major) e o general de brigada da reserva Mario Fernandes. Todos os militares eram ligados às forças especiais, conhecidas como “kids pretos”, do Exército.
Mario Fernandes, que foi secretário-executivo da Secretaria-Geral da Presidência da República em 2022 e atualmente é assessor do deputado e ex-ministro da Saúde Eduardo Pazuello (PL-RJ), estava envolvido em discussões para minar a confiança no sistema eleitoral e tomar medidas antes das eleições presidenciais de 2022. Em uma reunião ministerial com a presença de Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Fernandes defendeu “alternativas” antes das eleições e admitiu o risco de “conturbar o país”. Essas discussões foram gravadas e apreendidas do computador de Mauro Cid, ex-ajudante de ordens de Bolsonaro.
Durante a reunião, Fernandes sugeriu que o governo Bolsonaro pressionasse o Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) e os Três Poderes para fiscalizarem as eleições, propondo um prazo para essas ações e mencionando a necessidade de uma “medida mais radical” caso não fossem atendidos. Ele fez referência ao golpe militar de 1964, alertando sobre a possibilidade de o país ser “desarticulado” e defendendo a tomada de medidas antes das eleições para evitar um cenário de fraude.
A Operação Contragolpe revelou que o plano do grupo, denominado “Punhal Verde e Amarelo”, incluía o assassinato de Lula e Alckmin no dia 15 de dezembro de 2022 e a prisão e execução de Alexandre de Moraes. Segundo a PF, o grupo havia monitorado o ministro do STF por semanas e possuía conhecimento técnico-militar avançado para executar as ações.
Além disso, a investigação mostrou que o grupo planejava instituir um “Gabinete Institucional de Gestão de Crise”, comandado pelos golpistas, com o objetivo de administrar os conflitos resultantes do golpe de Estado e consolidar o regime autoritário.
