A eleição do candidato republicano Donald Trump nos Estados Unidos movimenta a política brasileira na manhã desta quarta-feira. Governadores de direita que tentam se cacificar para as eleições presidenciais de 2026 parabenizam o norte-americano em um claro aceno à base de apoio do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL). São nomes como Romeu Zema ( Minas Gerais) Tarcísio de Freitas (São Paulo) e Ratinho Júnior (Paraná).
Diretamente de uma missão internacional na China, o governador mineiro parabenizou a população americana pela escolha. Segundo o político do Partido Novo, a eleição de Trump seria um reflexo da “insatisfação com os governos de esquerda”, que não estaria restrita apenas à realidade deste país.
Os gesto político do governador Romeu Zema tendo em vista seu projeto presidencial daqui dois anos, tem intensificado suas críticas ao governo federal, comandado por Lula (PT), e se alinhado ao bolsonarismo em temas-chaves.
Em meio à inelegibilidade do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro, outros governadores fazem um movimento semelhante. Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) e Ratinho Júnior (PSD) também tentam se viabilizar.
No caso do gestor paulista, que está em seu primeiro mandato no estado, já afirmou que irá concorrer à reeleição ou disputar o Palácio do Planalto.
Já o paranaense Ratinho Júnior escreveu em suas redes sociais que a “maior democracia do mundo” deu um “sinal verde” a Trump. “O Paraná continuará dialogando com os americanos para fortalecer uma relação comercial exitosa para os dois lados”, disse.
Fora deste projeto político de 2026, os governadores do Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro (PL), e de Santa Catarina, Jorginho Mello (PL), se uniram ao coro de parabenizações. “Que sua vitória inspire, em todo o mundo, o sentimento de patriotismo, liberdade e os valores que fazem uma grande nação”, afirmou o catarinense ao fazer votos.
O discurso de que a vitória de Trump nas eleições americanas pode ter reflexos no restante do mundo aparece na repercussão. Aliados de Bolsonaro encaram o resultado como um preâmbulo de que, em 2026, um candidato de direita possa vir a derrotar Lula ou o candidato do governo federal nas urnas.
Há ainda a expectativa de que, com um nome da extrema-direita à frente do país que representa a maior economia do mundo, possa contribuir para uma eventual reversão da inelegibilidade do ex-presidente brasileiro.
Governistas entre críticas e reconhecimento
Enquanto governadores da direita exaltam a vitória de Donald Trump, chefes estaduais da base governista se dividem entre críticas e o reconhecimento da eleição do norte-americano. No Pará, Helder Barbalho (MDB) ressaltou a importância de manter a parceria com o país, independente do eleito. “O pragmatismo, a diplomacia e o histórico das relações bilaterais devem ser os únicos fatores a guiar a relação entre esses dois povos. Parabenizo a democracia americana e desejo sucesso ao presidente eleito”, disse.
Titular do Espírito Santo, Renato Casagrande (PSB), foi mais crítico e afirmou que o republicano se elegeu “sem compromisso claro com ações de mitigação dos impactos das mudanças climáticas”, o que exige, em sua avaliação, que os estados liderem a transição energética.
Já o maranhense Carlos Brandão (PSB) compartilhou o posicionamento em que Lula reconhece o resultado do pleito e escreveu: “Brasil sempre aberto ao diálogo para garantir mais cooperação internacional”.
