O cantor sertanejo Gusttavo Lima fez uma doação de R$ 20 mil para a candidatura de seu irmão, William Lima Remelexo, que está disputando uma vaga de vereador em Patos de Minas, no Alto Paranaíba de Minas Gerais. William, que também é cantor, é candidato pelo PL, partido ligado ao ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro.
Patos de Minas tem 3 candidatos a prefeito e 222 a vereador registrados para disputar a eleição de 2024, segundo dados do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE). Os postulantes são: Douglas Eduardo (União), Falcão (Novo) e Rildo Rodrigues Carmo (Rede).
A doação representa 39,1% do limite máximo que candidatos a vereador na cidade podem gastar, que é de R$ 58,7 mil. Além da doação, William declarou ao Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) bens totalizando R$ 184,5 mil, incluindo R$ 4,5 mil em espécie, um Toyota Corolla 2013 avaliado em R$ 60 mil e uma casa residencial no valor de R$ 120 mil.
